Myth I: You can’t do anything about this condition

Myth III: It will go away on its own

Myth IV: The drugs for arthritis are not efficient and they have side effects

Myth V: I will never have this condition

Myth VI: I only have some aches and pains, nothing serious

Arthritis makes you loose your freedom because you will find it difficult to move. There are about 100.000 people in US that suffer from this condition and they can not walk by themselves. Arthritis is the most common chronic disease and it is the most common cause of this crippling condition.

Myth VII: My doctor can take care of this

You can say that only if the doctor you are seeing is a rheumatologist that is always on the cutting edge of new research. Otherwise, you need to see a specialist and only he can tell you what the latest treatments are and which can improve your lifestyle.
